Make Habit Data a Physical Habit
Logging a habit used to mean opening VoidCraft, walking to the right world, and clicking the tracker. Reasonable at a desk. Unreasonable at six in the morning with a gym bag on one shoulder. So habit trackers now speak NFC.
The pitch is straight out of Atomic Habits, which is taped to the wall in the photo for a reason: stack the new habit onto a spot you already touch. A chip on the kitchen wall for meditation, one in the wallet for gym days. Tap it with your phone and a small page confirms the day counted and shows the streak. The chip only holds a private link, so there is nothing to install and no account prompt in your way.
- Obtain cheap NFC chips.
- Register them to your habit trackers.
- Boom! No-login action logging.
- ???
- Profit.
Step 5, clarified: the goal is a habit that sticks. Delete the tracker once it has done its job, or keep logging if you like the data.
